Add the director’s national insurance calculation.

  1. Sign in to your Workmax admin account.
  2. Go to the “People” section.
  3. Select the Employee.
  4. Select the “Job & pay” tab.
  5. In the “Tax details” section, click the “Edit” link.
  6. Check the “Directors” checkbox.
  7. Select the calculation method (Annual Calculation, Alternative Calculation)
  8. If the employee was appointed directorship in the current tax year, enter the date of directorship.
  9. Click the “Save” button.

Workmax will update the details. Employee national insurance will be calculated according to the chosen method on the next pay run.
