- Sign in to your Workmax admin account.
- Go to the “People” section.
- Select the Employee.
- Select the “Job & pay” tab.
- In the “Tax details” section, click the “Edit” link.
- Check the “Directors” checkbox.
- Select the calculation method (Annual Calculation, Alternative Calculation)
- If the employee was appointed directorship in the current tax year, enter the date of directorship.
- Click the “Save” button.
Workmax will update the details. Employee national insurance will be calculated according to the chosen method on the next pay run.
